Ocean model that simulates the physical states of oceans is critical to a wide range of marine activities such as fisheries, oil spills, and search and rescue. Ocean model prediction spans multiple time and spatial scales. Yellow and East China Seas Model (YECSM) and Northwestern Pacific Model (NWPM) are in their experimental phase and provide prediction of the temperature, salinity and currents for 3-days. The prediction models are driven by the atmospheric forcing from the operating model of the Korea Meteorological Administration. The operational chain for lateral forcing is based on a downscaling method starting from the global model. The atmospheric numerical model is implemented through WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting Model) installed in AWS. It is used to reduce Atmospheric Phase Delay Effect of InSAR data by simulating atmospheric conditions at the times of SAR data acquisition.
